Medical Aesthetician | Laser Technician and DirtyDerm Founder
Kayla Grace, a seasoned medical aesthetician and laser technician, graduated in 2008 from Palmyra Area High School. She also graduated from Lebanon County Career and Technology, where she studied cosmetology. In 2012, she embraced a new challenge as an AMMO airman (2W051) in the Air Force. She traveled the world until 2015. During this time, her daughter was born in Italy, marking a special chapter in her life. Now a certified aesthetician and laser technician, Kayla combines her diverse experiences with a passion for advanced skincare treatments.
After her military service, she pursued her passion for skincare and aesthetics. Kayla began her journey at the Skin Science Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah. Later, she became laser certified through IMAj Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her commitment to dermatology led her to finish an externship as a dermatology/MOHS medical assistant. Kayla attended YTI Career Institute, knowing that dermatology was where she wanted to make her mark. She has since specialized in advanced treatments like PRF microneedling, chemical peels, and Hydrafacials. Kayla’s background as a certified laser safety officer and phlebotomist ensures that every procedure she conducts is safe and precise.
Currently, Kayla is a student at DeVry University. She is set to graduate this October with a degree in Web Design and Development. She is also excited about her future plans with DirtyDerm. With plans to develop skincare products specifically for individuals who wear full-face helmets. Her vision is to start by traveling to supercross and motocross events. Kayla will offer skincare solutions directly to riders and fans. Eventually, she plans on expanding from there. she’ll be hitting the road in an RV to sell products and provide treatments on-site.
Education towards Medical Aesthetics
Kayla Grace is currently pursuing a degree in Web Design and Development at DeVry University, with a 3.5 GPA. In June 2022, she graduated from YTI Career Institute with an Associate’s degree in Medical Assisting, earning a 3.4 GPA. Kayla is also a certified phlebotomist. Her education includes certification as a laser technician and student instructor from IMAj Institute in Scottsdale, AZ, with a 4.0 GPA, completed in August 2020. She obtained her Master Esthetician certification from the Skin Science Institute in Salt Lake City, UT, achieving a 4.0 GPA in January 2017.
Training and Certifications as a Medical Aesthetician
Kayla Grace is a certified medical aesthetician with extensive training in various areas. These include Microsoft Office, health information management, medical documentation, and health insurance coding. Her skills encompass wound care, vital signs, electronic health records, and assisting with minor office surgeries and specialty exams. Additionally, Kayla specializes in microneedling, chemical peels, tattoo removal, and laser hair removal. She ensures the highest standard of care for her clients.
Employment History in Aesthetics and Dermatology
Since March 2023, Kayla Grace has worked as a Medical Aesthetician at Lasting Looks Advanced Skincare in Lemoyne, PA. Her responsibilities include performing PRF microneedling, chemical peels, Hydrafacials, lash lifts and extensions, and O2 facials. Previously, from July 2022 to February 2023, Kayla worked at DermDox Dermatology in Camp Hill, PA. There, she served as an Esthetician and Medical Assistant, handling microneedling and assisting in skin cancer surgeries. She also managed patient rooming, charting, and scheduling surgeries.
